XP Support to end in 2014
http://www.theregister.co.uk/2012/04/07/windows_xp_two_years_until_support_ends/
Windows XP support will officially (and finally) end in 2014. Just a reminder to upgrade your stuff before then so you're not stuck buying a new computer when your XP machines crashes.

Ch-Ch-Ch-Changes
We're turning and facing the strain.
A lot has happened here at Gigahertz in the last month or so. We've consolidated both locations into one in Lowell, one of our best employees has moved on to better things, we're going to be celebrating 4 years being open this year, and we're continually being awesome.
For the month of April, we're going to be doing 15% off all labor until April 30th.
Also, don't forget to visit our Facebook page and drop us a line.

Virus Information
Recently, we've come across a downloader that comes into computers through MyspaceIM. It uses Java so if there are Windows user accounts that have denied access to installing applications, it will still get through.
Our recommendation is to not use MyspaceIM and to be careful as to what Facebook and Myspace send you. If it looks suspicious, it is probably malicious.

Another Fake AV
Yet another fake antivirus/utility has surfaced. This time in the form of a hard drive utility. If you get messages saying your hard drive has errors or it has crashed (and you are in windows), chances are you have it.
Bring it in for a free diagnostic :)
