The Lowell Police Department is accepting applications for the Reserve Police Officer Program. Applications are available at the Lowell Police Department or can be downloaded by accessing the employment tab. Applications must be turned in by March 31, 2010. The qualifications for a reserve officer at our department are as follows:

1. Must be at least 21 years of age.
2. Must be a citizen of the United States
3. May have no record of criminal convictions
4. Must be of good moral character
5. Must have a high school diploma or equivelant
6. Must be able to pass a physical fitness evaluation, written test and extensive background investigation.
